The COR Advantage software platform is regularly updated with new features. Below, you'll find a list of our most recent updates.
Dashboard Updates (10/28)
The Assessment Dashboard now even even easier to use, with more information than ever before! This week's updates include:
- View previous year data - A new drop down menu allows you to select preview years so that you can access assessment data and family reports.
- Previous high score - If you select the "Show previous high score" box at the top of the assessment grid, you can see the high score that the students received last period, to help you as you design activities and capture documentation.
- Mobile view - Student assessment data can now be accessed on devices of any size--even phones!
The Student-One Pager (10/2)
The Student One-Pager is now available on the student profile via the Assessment Dashboard. This concise report captures student growth with easy-to-follow visuals and highlights! Learn more about it here.
Period Settings Report (9/10)
The Period Settings Report is available for administrators under Reports > Administrations > Periods Settings. This Report lists the assessment periods for all the entities in your account.
Demographics Report (9/10)
The Demographics Report is now available by navigating to Reports > Administration Demographics Report. The Demographics report shows student population statics by demographic group.
Head Start Alignment Report (9/10)
The Head Start Alignment Report translates students' scores in COR Advantage to the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF) scores. You can learn more about the Head Start ELOF here, and access the report by going to Reports > Administration > Head Start Alignment.
Progress Overview Report (9/5)
The original Growth Report is back with a new name! You can navigate to Reports > Growth and Planning > Progress Overview to see performance across periods organized by item.
Storyboards Update Part 2: Sent Indicator and Text Options (9/4)
Storyboards now have a Sent indicator so you can see which of them have been shared with your community:
We have also added more text color options, as well as the ability to include a list in your text!
Observations by Teacher Report (8/30)
The Observations by Teacher Report is now available under Reports > Staff Development > Observations by Teacher. Use this report to see all observations published by each teacher. Click here to learn more.
Strengths and Opportunities Report (7/20)
The Strengths and Opportunities Report is now available under Reports > Growth & Planning > Strengths and Opportunities. The report shows the spread of scored items per period, from highest to lowest, as well as the gains from Period 1. Click here to learn more about this report and how it can help in your planning.
Growth Report Update (7/12)
The Growth Report is available under Reports > Growth & Planning > Benchmarks. The updated table view now provides more information in an easy-to-read format. You can learn more about it here.
Benchmarks Report (6/27)
The Benchmarks Report is available under Reports > Growth & Planning > Benchmarks. This report shows student performance relative to the national average. You can learn more about it here.
School Readiness Report (6/17)
The School Readiness Report is available under Reports > Growth & Planning > School Readiness. Use this report to measures student progress towards meeting school readiness goals over time! Learn more about how school readiness is calculated here.
Storyboard Update Part 1: Attachments (5/31)
You can now add attachments to Storyboards by selecting the File block in the editor:
Once you've inserted the block, you can click on it to add PDFs, Word Documents, Excel Spreadsheets and more! Recipients will be able to download the files to their devices. Now your newsletters, project overviews, and staff digests can be even more informative!
Graph views are now available for the Performance, Student Completion, and Classroom Completion reports.
Blank Anecdotes (4/11)
As prescribed by the HighScope assessment team, blank anecdotes will no longer save in the COR Advantage system. Now, users have to include text in order to save an anecdote!
Completion Reports (3/19)
Now there are two completion reports available on the Reports page! Student completion shows the completion history for all of the students in a classroom, and Classroom completion tracks the history of completion for a particular classroom. You can read more about these reports here.
Period Locking (3/19)
Once the COR Advantage assessments are complete for a particular period, an administrator can lock the data to protect it from future changes. Period locking can be found in Menu > Settings > Period Settings, and there is more information on how it works here.
OSEP Entry and Outcomes Reports (2/19)
For students with Part B and Part C funding, these reports are important for establishing the entry baseline and reporting to OSEP. Access these reports by navigating to Menu > Reports, and learn more about how they work here.
Teacher Name Stored on Observation
Need to see which teacher recorded a specific observation? Simply click into the Moment detail to view this at the bottom left corner.
Notes & Signatures Section on Family Report
At the end of your Family Report, you will find an additional page designed to record notes and signatures. This is a wonderful resource to print out and use during a live conference.
Family Report Translation
You can translate a Family Report into another language by sending the report to yourself, clicking through the link in the email you receive, and selecting a language. To send a report, go to Assessments, click on the child's name, and choose the paper airplane icon in the top right corner.
Age Group Filters in Reports
Previously, you could pull data on specific age groups by using the Birthday filter. We've simplified this process for you by adding in the Age Group filters!
